MATTHEW 18:20 —
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
Did you know that we don’t have to be in a church sanctuary to worship? Or
that we don’t have to wait a whole week in between Sundays to praise God? As
we read in Matthew, we can worship whenever and wherever two or more
people are gathered in one place. We can worship at home, at work, in a coffee
shop, in the library, at the park, in school, on the bus, an anywhere else you
can imagine. We at the Lutheran Church of Mahomet are challenging you this
Easter season to seek a worship experience outside of a traditional church
building. Gather with some friends, gather with your family—let’s respond to
the joy of Jesus’ resurrection with another round of worship! (see the attached
