I set things at a really high level. I bought
a pair of $600 shoes and he was shocked. I
was like, “well, that’s just what they cost!”

That’s really smart! What is your best
solution to a bad hair day?
I’m sure you’ve noticed I’m a bit of a hat
wearer, but I also find a centre part; spray
of water and spritz of Sea Salt Spray
seems to fix a sometimes-unruly mane. I
do love having shorter hair though – it is
so much easier! I also don’t condition my
hair much at all – about once a week. It
gives my hair so much more volume and
texture and I just rely on my hair’s natural
oils to keep it moisturised.
Best trick to brighten up your face after a
sleepless night with Rocket?
My LB Cream gives me a fresh finish no
matter how tired my skin may be. I use it
daily! I also make a scrub out of crushed
up aspirin and lemon juice. It is really a
great exfoliator and leaves skin so bright.
Best beauty on the go tip?
Always take your make-up off before you
go to bed. There is nothing worse than
waking up with last night’s make-up
on! Skin needs time to rest, breath and
rejuvenate.
What is your biggest beauty/skin sin?
I don’t really have one. I’m pretty
regimented with my skincare routine and
luckily have the opportunity to work with
wonderful people who I pick up tips and
tricks off. Overdoing it is a big mistake
many women make, but the reality is that
less is more. When I am trialing a new
look, I will always wear it around the
house first for a while before going out
wearing it, just to make sure it works!
What do you do in your down time?
Down time?? Not much of that at the
moment… I enjoy my friends and family
– spending time with them keeps me
grounded, focused and as relaxed as I can
be with such a busy schedule!
