Tell us about your latest range? The new range will not be out for at least another year! In the meantime, I have been working on the existing product range to incorporate the latest raw materials to be a 100% natural active product and is petrochemical free formula. The range is Innovative | Safe | Technologically Advanced. The development of Karpati Bio-Intelligent Skin Care comes from the ever increasing demands of both the consumer and the industry. Beauty therapists, skin aestheticians and as well as consumers want to use products offering real results without the chemical nasties, which have a negative effect on our health and the environment. These chemicals affect human health and are often linked to many skin irritations and allergies including eczema, allergic contact dermatitis, skin inflammations, asthma, headaches, dizziness, hormonal imbalances, organ diseases and even cancers. Additionally, women who are pregnant or trying to fall pregnant should avoid all personal care with potentially toxic chemicals which we have chosen to exclude. What is your beauty philosophy and how does this translate to your products? My philosophy is chemical free, simple, functional, active products. I stay true to this when formulating all of my products I create. My passion is to bring an end to harmful chemicals in our cosmetics, hair care and nail lacquers. What is the biggest mistake people do when it comes to skincare? People don’t clean their skin with the right products. They keep piling on SPF, moisturizers, make-up over each other. It is crucial to clean your skin well. It is also important to determine your skin type and buy skin care products to suit your skin type. This is an incredibly important step because if you buy products that aren’t appropriate for your skin, they will be incredibly ineffective, and may worsen the situation. You should also take into consideration specific issues that your skin has, such as acne. What’s the best advice you can give when it comes to looking after your skin? If you don’t already have them, you will need to buy a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, defoliant, cotton pads & a face mask. Use an enzyme cleanser on a daily basis. Hydrate your skin with a serum to quench your skin’s thirst and protect your skin always! Last of all stick to your routine! Your skin needs to get used to the frequency of being treated, and to the products you’re using.
