FLESH & blood:

by Andre G. Gruber

Concept by: Andre Gruber and Paul Huemann Written and Illustrated by: Andre Gruber published by RUM & DUCK comics
Colonel Richards knows his way around the block. He’ s made the rounds before, but this time it was different. His boots soaked to the top with dirty rainwater, he looked like hell.
Unlike his previous nightly watch, the colonel wore fear on his face. The recent brigade had taken a deadly toll on his men, yet he refused to cry.
His bayonet, which he named tonto, looked bent, crooked, dirty, and sharp as hell.
Puddles of rain seem especially cold when painted with reds, pinks, and blacks. Still in shock, he heard nothing going on around him.
Dear reader, This tale of blood and betrayal may seem crude. Read at your own discretion, but keep an open mind. If you dig deep you might find some humanity, or not.

Holy damn, I can see up ahead! I knew it, that son of a bitch was right! Who knew that our shot at redemption lied on the hands of oppressive weather.
