Feedback From Staff and Community
Input Conclusions
To most effectively engage the community members, in some cases the
meetings were broken into two separate meetings, one held in Spanish and the
other in English. When the open forum discussions where slowing down, a draft
version of the “Vision Site Plan” was displayed. This allowed the participants to
see concept that graphically represent solutions to some of the issues they were
trying to communicate. The Vision Site Plans allowed the attendees to react to
the plan and make suggestions. Upon conclusion of the meetings, the group
was pulled back together and the results of what was heard, was reviewed. Staff
and Community Priorities were then communicated and documented. After a
few meetings were held, Andres Zamora began to ask for ideas on “Things to do
now”. The following are the results:
