Section One E x e c u t i v e Livingston Union School District | Facilities Master Plan S u m m a r y Kick-Off Meeting “What is the Role of the Steering Sub-Committee?” The Steering Sub-Committee consisted of the Superintendent’s office (Andres Zamora and Lupe Maldonado), District Staff (Kuljinder Sekhon, Tiffany Pickle, Nick Jones and Sara Crawley), and two Board members (Luis Flores and Vernon Boyd). Also, each of the school site Principals assisted the Steering SubCommittee by representing each of the District school sites. The role of the Steering Sub-Committee is threefold: 1. Define the schedule and level of detail for the Facilities Master Plan. 2. To set a vision statements and goals for the Facilities Master Plan. 3. Provide leadership by making decisions that affect the direction and purpose of the Facilities Master Plan. The Steering Sub-Committee set the initial purpose, vision and goals for the Facilities Master Plan efforts. The vision statement and goals help to define the direction and purpose, that build the framework for the Master Planning process.
