The standard method to catch the Japanese rockfish, KASAGO is to have your lure make
contact with a submerged structure. The basic technique for this, using a “PARAMAX” or “GRASS
MINNOW” lure on a jig head rig, is the lift and fall technique. Set the jighead, lift it, and then have
it fall down in a slow curve over the structure attracting the fish. Also dragging it on the top of
the structure in a swimming action is also very effective.
