perch take full advantage of.
Silently under the surface these
stripey assassins manoeuvre
and corral the bait fish towards
these dead ends. With nowhere
to run, except through the perch
themselves, this live larder of
fry are going nowhere – and the
perch are never far away.
The obvious place to present a
lure then is alongside the first
few boats nearest the end of the
water. The perch tucked up in the
shadows cast by the large hulls
are waiting for a stray baitfish to
