t raditional chinese dish ext remely excited about her meal “The festivities captured and embraced the culture and feel of the Lunar New Year. We got to experience cuisine and decor specific to the Chinese customs. We were able to enjoy the history of the Lunar New Year throughout our meal. During these Lunar New Year celebrations, we were led by the students and employees who are familiar with the customs. We featured these students’ and employees’ heritage throughout the festivities, and they were our guide into the Lunar New Year.” - Rachel Haltiwanger University of South Carolina Elementary Education major and Teaching Fellow 11 | | 12
