The Brother labours to bring into reality the divine plan of salvation , not only when he exercises the ministry of the Word of God , but also by devoting himself , in everything he teaches , to the education of those he helps to arrive at authentic and complete maturity as human persons . In SJI , this means nurturing Josephians , staff , everyone who works in SJI including Brothers Paul , Kennedy and Kelvin to be persons of integrity and persons for others .
The Brother responds to a special and mysterious call from God . He consecrates himself totally to God and to God ' s service by his religious profession , and he works to integrate , in the unity of a lifetime under the guidance and relationship he has with God . Dear God , help Josephians to know their vocation in life and assist them to prepare for it . For your greater glory , and for the service of your people , call many to respond to this special and mysterious call from you . Give those whom you call the grace to respond generously and to persevere faithfully . Amen .

Br . Edmundo L . Fernandez FSC has announced the appointment of three Auxiliary Visitors for the Lasallian East Asia District :
Auxiliary Visitor for Mission and Association : Br . Paul Ho FSC Br . Paul is currently President of St . Joseph ’ s Institution in Singapore and was , for many years , Brother Director of St . Xavier ’ s Institution , Penang . He carries with him extensive knowledge of running schools in Malaysia and Singapore . He has been Sector Leader of Singapore for the first four years of the District .
Auxiliary Visitor for Vocation and Formation : Br . Joseph Klong Chaiphuak FSC Br . Joseph is currently the Director of the community and two campuses at the Bamboo School . He was Director of the formation house at Sampran , Thailand , for over ten years accompanying candidates and Young Brothers . He has knowledge of PARC and the Institute as he used to attend PARC meetings as President of the Delegation in the 90s .
Auxiliary Visitor for Strategic Planning : Br . Jose Mari Jimenez FSC Br . JJ is currently Sector Leader in the Philippines , a position he occupies full time due to the breadth of concerns in that Sector . While he was school head at one time , he spent a good deal of his time as formator of Postulants and Scholastics . Their terms of office are co terminus with that of the Visitor .
Br . Thomas Lavin FSC , the first Auxiliary Visitor of the District , for the past four years , will be President of SJI International , Malaysia .
