Heart

Without the aid from the SJI Facilities Department , it would be very hard for me to function . The Facilities Manager , Mr Anthony Tan looked out for me . He ensured my wheelchair did not risk getting stolen but also offered me advice when I needed it .
Dr Koh Thiam Seng , Mrs Goh Poh Kenn , Mrs Anne Tan , Mr Malcolm Wong , Mr Dominic Ang had also been very kind to me . They gave me the opportunity to return to be part of the SJI family and also allowed the school community to organise various fund raising events and prayer sessions for me . As I improved , a special timetable was designed for me , and special arrangements for my examinations were made . If not for the aid of the principal and vice principal , I doubt I could even get this far .
I am glad to have done the school proud by my astounding results in the GCE ‘ O ’ level examinations . It is a miracle and through God ’ s grace that I could even sit for my examinations . I am indeed blessed to be in such a warm community of brotherhood and fellowship where I have grown to become a man of faith , service and integrity . If not for this loving SJI community where I spent one-third of my life , I doubt I would be given a chance to be the faithful , resilient and determined young man I am today .
Thank you SJI !
Tan Ser Yung Class 435 ( 2012 )
21 January 2013 Dear Teachers of SJI ,

Iam writing this letter of thanks and gratitude for being there for me all the time . I have been in SJI these six years and they have been an amazing experience and journey for me . I would not have come this far without your undying support whether it was academically , emotionally , mentally or spiritually . My time in SJI would not have passed so smoothly had it not been for your continual guidance and tutelage . Indeed SJI has been a second home for me and I will forever treasure my time spent in SJI .

Recently my dad passed away and it dealt a huge blow to me . Many of you have come to my father ’ s funeral and even collected a sum of money for me to overcome my plight . I am very touched by your kindness . Although my dad has left me I did not feel too sad because I know I am surrounded by people who care for me even after I have graduated from SJI .
I would like to thank all of you again for your care and concern for me .
Yours sincerely Lim Bo Zhi Class of 423 ( 2012 )
