SJI ’ s 165 th
Anniversary

With our 165 years of Lasallian legacy , there was much to be thankful for . Since the founding of SJI in 1852 , there have been a number of accomplishments . But of the many , SJI prides itself in the contributions made by Josephians in the local church , Singapore , and the world . The alumni , our ambassadors , embody the Lasallian ethos of faith , community and service . Celebrating this gift of SJI by the De La Salle brothers , the 165 th Anniversary Gala Dinner was held at Fairmont Ballroom on 22 July 2017 .
Gracing us with their presence were numerous special guests at the SJI 165 th Anniversary Gala Dinner . Among them were our guest of honour Mr Teo Chee Hean , Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security , Republic of Singapore , Brother Edmundo Fernandez , FSC Brother Visitor of the Lasallian East Asia District ( LEAD ) and Mr Geoffrey Keating , Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore .
