After an absence of 3 years from Malcolm Road , SJI finally moved back and reopened its gates to welcome her students on 9 January 2017 . Staff , students and alumni embraced the return with much joy , as there are now more spaces for learning and play in the redeveloped campus . Coming back home to Malcolm Road this year is also timely and significant , as the SJI community celebrates 165 years of Lasallian heritage in Singapore . In this issue , we bring you reflections on some of the new and old features of our campus , the highlights of our homecoming celebrations , as well as the stories of our alumni who have studied in the pre-war SJI at Bras Basah and the pre-redeveloped SJI at Malcolm Road .
