It has been a busy start to 2016 as learning in SJI took to new heights this year . Beyond the usual textbooks and conventional lessons in the classrooms , our students ( and teachers ) discovered that there was much more to explore within the campus and further afield . On this Bishan campus , our International Baccalaureate students found life beyond the human race and captured their discoveries in a poster exhibition for their Group 4 ( Sciences ) project . Our Mother Tongue Languages ( MTL ) Department ( Secondary Section ) also brought the languages to life during the inaugural MTL Week , where the students learnt about the different traditions of their Chinese , Malay and Indian peers through games and performances .

Aside from the academics , the students also took time to serve the society through many little ways , such as reaching out to the poor and needy community in Phnom Penh or simply by donating blood to help those in need of a transfusion .
Who says studying is boring ? At SJI , we help our Josephians to learn how to learn and to learn how to live , anywhere , anytime .
We wish everyone a restful holiday this June . Ora et Labora .
