4. The Trifinio
It is located in the city of Metapan, department of
Santa Ana. Just 117 kilometers from San Salvador
you will find a beautiful park. The park is called
Montecristo, but is known as El Trifinio. In this
point the borders of Guatemala, Honduras and El
Salvador converge. The climate is very temperate
and can reach between 6 and 18 degrees. Indigo and
coffee are grown here. Tourists can choose to ride
any of the 3 interpretive trails, enjoy any of the 3
campgrounds, picnic tables or stay in any of the 2
family cabins.
