Photography became very important to me in high school. I always wanted to document the crazy fun stuff that my friends and I were doing. It wasn’t until I was in my mid-twenties that I started to take the art of photography seriously. Like most things in my life, I am self-taught and wouldn’t have it any other way. I feel it gives me an edge to keep learning and wanting to find the next best thing.
Being a photographer that specializes in senior portraits is something that just made sense for me. I’ve worked with teenagers even when I was a teenager, I was a leader in my church’s youth group my senior year of high school. I still remember twelve years ago when I was a freshman in college being at a conference and having the calling on my life confirmed.
My hope for my seniors is that they are able to have a fun experience that will remember while celebrating an ending and an amazing new beginning just ahead. So much of who I am today was developed during my high school career.
