They also had their first Consultation and and here were the results;

"We had our first Brainstorm Session today, and I have to say that I am really thankful to all who showed up. Everybody was very respectful and I was amazed by the discipline that was shown. Everybody was able to say their say without interruptions. We had a stunning 26 participants (Random Order):

TD808, Godric_London, Quantitas, xZombieMike, T0xicMyst, Thecatwhomines, Skittlezdahusky, Gimbert2, Abstract, AmyB, Battlebiker, Braintees, Chapelrabbit, Earl_Harmon, Kane51, Kilo_bytes, Lothgow, Lunar_1993, Miexar, Raudrohi, Steveknight24, Synclet, Maky, Chrisman1233, Skykilla21, Jake_kessler.

We started off with a small introduction, after which we started discussing the topics listed below. Each time we divided up in group to discuss the subject and then came together again. Each time 1 member of each group would explain what the conclusion was of their group. Together with all participant, we were able to form these answers to the given questions:

Why does Roleplaycraft exist?

Roleplaycraft exists to unite a variety of players from all over the world, in a common mindset, to have fun roleplaying in the game minecraft. We have high tolerance in the level of roleplay, allowing the 'craft' part to be just as important. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the community is it's equal.

For what reason do we have a website and forum?

At the moment we are satisfied with the forums and website, although a new website is being worked on. The website allows for a quick overview of all information you need when joining, but it needs to be updated more frequently.The forums allow the community to branch of the game, and evolve in ways which minecraft wouldn't have allowed. You can find all news, information, history and help from players you could want on it, and the users are very tolerant. In the past it might have been different, but we have improved over time. The forums is now the beating heart of the community.

How do we increase involvement with the RPC community

We could foremost improve involvement by adding events and quests. These could range from spleef to mod-sieges, although smaller and casual events are preferred. It would be a good idea to try out a player driven event-team and we should defenitly encourage more players to start events of their own. Large scale PvP is best avoided due to the nature of it turning people against each other outside of the actual PvP. Co-op would be a cool new way to introduce events, since working together creates a connection between the players. The quest plugin we had in the past might also be nice to put back on, for it creates something to do when you are bored. There are notification of bored people, which we will need to provide entertainment for.

The next meeting date and time is changed, keep this in mind and check the post. I would love to see a big turn-up like today then as well. Next time we will have different topics and everybody is invited again!

Thank you for your input,
