The idea that Black is a non-color because it
comprises all color, makes intellectual and
visual sense, and so I set out to experiment with
the extraction.
How did you begin the process?
It began with a lot of monetary investments and
American Airlines allowing me cartons on their
flight during high seasons. Lol!
What?
A lot of financial investment is required, for
photo-chemical experimentation. I travel to
the US and buy the raw chemical. Occasionally,
pharmaceutical grades were bough from a local
chemical company, they knew of my work and
so I could place special orders for some items,
otherwise, medical grade chemicals were used.
It is expensive and time-consuming.
