began my journey into the 2nd generation via painting.
Each series was an exploration into a person’s persona.
The last painting series began to leave the canvas...
opening the door back to multi medium works.

Early in 2013 I began to create the wall masks, which led to the free
standing busts, which led into the 2nd generation of the Continuum.
The two generations of a sculptural imaginary family are tied
together through me, the artist. I become a sculptural member of both
generations created 36 years apart. The recording of their lives has
been documented with photographs and video. I am exploring the
continuation of an artist through process throughout a life time.

Both the generations are life-sized and are created with a variety of
mixed mediums. Staying true to the human form, the sculptures have
been created using stable but not archival materials.
