Iren Smart Solutions ’ steps forward in the EfficienTO Project
Turin is standing out on the European scene as one of the leading cities in ����������� ���������� ��� �� ��� ���� ������� climate change . The European Commission has included it in the list of 100 urban realities to be transformed into smart cities with zero climate impact by 2030 , an accolade that not only brings honour but also calls for engagement . This choice is in line with the 17 UN sustainable development goals . �� �� �� ���� ������ ������� ���� �� ����� ����� Iren presented the �������� plan , a goaloriented Financing Project for the energy �������������� �� ���� ��� ����������� ����� buildings with an expected investment of 110 million euros . The activities , which began in 2022 , are a decisive step towards reducing energy consumption and CO 2 emissions , aiming for energy savings of 33 % within 7 ����� ���� ��� ����� �� ��� ���� ������������ �� July 2023 . The �������� works , managed by Iren Smart Solutions , aim to make the main system ����������� ��������� ��������� ���� ������� and to redevelop the building envelope . This ����� ���� ���� ��� ��� ������� �� ���������� interventions , but to a profound renovation that considers the building and its systems as an integrated system , where each element works in synergy to optimise the consumption and use of energy resources . ����� ��������� ������� �� ���� ���� ���� ��� ��������� ��������� ���� ������ ������� �� among the goals we have set ourselves as a City in order to achieve a reduction in C0 2 and

One of the most innovative aspects of this project is its focus on school buildings , which ��������� ��� �������� �� ��������� ������� so far . This choice not only improves energy ��������� ��� ���� ������� ��������� ��� more sustainable learning environments ��� ��������� ��� ���� ������� ��� ������� visible : the three renovated school buildings have seen the installation of new lighting systems , thermostatic valves and an advanced system for remote system management , all ������������ �� ���������� ������ �������� The plan envisages that , by next July , the ���� ������ �������� ����� ���� �� ��������� with the improvement of 16 buildings , mostly schools , which will lead to savings of over 760
��� ������� �� ��� ������������ ���� ������� ���� continue with the second year of interventions which provides for a further saving of over 800 TOE on 23 buildings .
