Levante 2.0 is the second generation of

Cariboni Group ’ s historic line of urban lighting products . It still has part of the shape features of the old Levante , but extends its application possibilities . The fixing systems , the variety of optical distributions and the options for choosing , adjusting and controlling the intensity and colour of the light have been expanded . The new Levante 2.0 line was designed with the goal of being able to illuminate the whole city , that is urban solid and void : not only open spaces and paths , but also buildings or other vertical elements . The two sizes available are compatible with numerous mounting options for the installation : fixed or adjustable , on the wall , ceiling , ground , pole , or string suspension . The optical systems are divided in two light distribution patterns : one for accent or diffuse lighting of vertical surfaces , i . e . spotlight , floodlight and wall washer optics , and the other for illumination of horizontal surfaces as asymmetrical and street lighting . Levante 2.0 is a modular and interlocking system . The designer can combine any light distribution with each of the fixing systems , in order to create original and flexible configurations for every context . All optical systems are offered in neutral white ( 4,000 ° K ), warm white ( 3,000 ° K ) or ultra-warm white ( 2,200 ° K ). Light distributions include RGBW ( 3,000 ° K ) colour changing versions that offer the designer a rich palette of precise and vibrant colours . Coloured light has important effects on the perception of an environment and its semantic dimension can help to tell the identity of a place . Levante 2.0 is also suitable for lighting areas of particular ecological interest thanks to the Eco- Centric Lighting versions that include Blue-Free or Switchable White asymmetric lighting and street lighting . The Blue Free variants ( amber or 1,800 ° K ) are ideal for the lighting of walking or cycling areas , and reduce the blue component of white light , generating a warm and welcoming atmosphere . The blue component of light causes major problems for animals and pronounced stress situations for plants . Switchable White variants , designed for the lighting of vehicular routes within or near natural areas , allow you to alternate between a very warm light with a reduced blue light component that protects flora and fauna ( 1,800 ° K ), and a warm light with a moderate blue component that improves human visual performance when

traffic is heavy ( 3,000 ° K ). Although cold blue light is harmful to natural eco-systems , it is nevertheless the type of lighting that can improve human visual performance and allow the greatest energy savings . Eco-Centric Lighting solutions provide the night with a new balance between light and darkness , respecting the biological rhythms of nature and the human needs for safety and well-being . Intelligent and adaptive lighting systems can be set up to further reduce light pollution ( and save energy ). The products in the Levante 2.0 line are also set up for the integration of sensing and communication devices that optimise even

more the system management and enable IoT on an urban scale . Sensors and antennas comply with Zhaga standards to ensure the products ’ maintainability and upgradeability , as well as interoperability with other lighting systems . Maintenance and upgrades are also allowed for the LED modules and the power supply and control units , which are accessible and replaceable in all versions . Levante 2.0 follows the principles of EcoDesign and each product is designed to be repairable and to last as long as possible , even in the harshest environments .
