Over the last few months , spent mostly confined in our homes , isolated and distant from the people and places we were used to enjoy on a daily basis , we have been observing the outside world , longing for cities , with their open spaces , green areas , and places for fun and aggregation . And with these places in mind , this year , even if far away , we at Cariboni Group have continued to work to design solutions to illuminate and enhance our cities , preparing ourselves for the moment when , finally , we will be able to return together to live , in complete freedom , the squares , streets , and parks . Poli , Dual and Sigma Street are our new proposals for the lighting of urban centres , spaces that we hope will soon return to pulsate with life after such a long period of unnatural absence and silence .
Poli Poli ( πόλη ), which in Greek means “ city ”, is our new post top , a lighting unit designed for urban centres . A city in which people walk , stop , and meet , designed not only in compliance with regulations , but also with the environment and the citizens who inhabit it . Poli furnishes the urban space with elegant and essential shapes that during the night are emphasized by light , marking the landscape with pure and linear luminous geometries . The new post top is a sturdy product that meets the environmental sustainability requirements of Eco-Design : components , materials , and finishes have been chosen to be durable and resistant to corrosion , overvoltage , and impacts ; source and power supply unit can be replaced for maintenance and updating .
