A new public lighting
for Catanzaro
T
he public lighting of the Municipality
of Catanzaro is now managed by Enel Sole,
which in February 2014 won the Consip “Luce 2”
competition. With a duration of nine years,
the goal is to improve the quality of the service
by reducing costs and promoting energy efficiency
and environmental sustainability.
The project brought the City to save about
360,000 Euros per year, thanks to an investment

affected by the modernization of the lighting
systems are: Lido, Giovino, Fortuna, Aranceto,
Pistoia, Santa Maria, Sala, San Leonardo, Stadio,
Pontepiccolo and Pontegrande.

3,270 new EVO LED luminaires have been
