Greek Recruitment Policies
An individual interested in joining a Lawrence Tech Greek Organization must meet the following criteria:
1. Is a full-time Lawrence Tech undergraduate student. 2. Has filled out the New Member Interest Form. 3. Meets the GPA requirement: to join a Fraternity or Sorority you must have a 2.0 cumulative
GPA. Freshmen must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA- based on high school transcripts.
Booth Organization
Organizations will be allowed to start setting up their booths at noon on the Sunday Recruitment starts and the booths must be removed before 9:00pm on the last Sunday of recruitment.
If the booths are not removed by the specified time the Greek Council may levy a fine a $ 50.00 per day.
The booth rotation shall move in this order based on the placement of the previous Recruitment:- Clockwise for the Sororities- Counter-clockwise for the Fraternities
Mixer Rules
All Greek Life Mixers must be registered: http:// ltu. edu / greeklife / event _ registration. asp
Refer to the FIPG Risk Management policy that is adopted by the Office of Greek Life as of January 2013.
Organizations are responsible for what happens at their mixer. There shall be no consumption of alcohol during the duration of the mixer.

Bidding or Pinning
Organizations may not bid or pin until the first Friday of recruitment weeks.
