Ernest Hemingway

Ernest was born 21. July 1899 in Oak Park in Chicago. He was second born in his family. He was an American author of novels and short stories. He wrote his stories by his own experiences in for example

First World War, the Spanish Civil War and the Second World War. Hemingway has won the Nobel price of writing in 1955. Ernest died in 1961.

Gabriela Mistral 1889-1957 was a poet, diplomat, feminism and Chilean educator one of the main figures of the Chilean and Latin American literature , was the first Latin American awarded the Nobel Prize.

Khalil Gibran was greast Lebanon-American poet,author and thinker and painter.He was born in Lebanon in 1883 and died in 1931.He movced to America when he was a small child.In the uSA he began his literay life and wrote both English and Arabic.His masperpiece is "Probhet".He is still regarded as a literary hero in Lebenon today.
