One thing I enjoy about your music is that you seem to have a multifaceted personality even through your lyrics. Do you credit this to your moving back and forth from Philly to Jersey?
“Yeah you can say that. There's like a good guy side but there's also a gully side. A lot of my fans tell me they like both because I have a song for any type of mood that they are in.”
From an outsider's perspective you seem very open to the public. What makes you not afraid to be yourself? How do you draw the boundary of when enough is enough.
“There isn't really a boundary with me. Well, maybe if I'm tweeting too much but I just like being me. I'm very blunt and I always speak how I feel. I grew up on 2pac, 50 Cent, and Kanye who are all outspoken so I think that is where that comes from.”
Personally, my favorite song from your LP is "Chocolate." I know this may be tough to answer but what is your favorite track off SONIA'S SON, or what song best encompasses the purpose or ideals of this LP?
“I feel like ‘2 Weeks’ is the best song to describe the project. It's basically a summary of everything that was going on in my past life to the life that I live now.“
