his book is about a character named Dante who is about to receive his A-level results before going to university and earning a future for himself. Instead of building a life for himself he receives a shocking visit from a long lost friend, that just happens to be his ex-girlfriend that fell pregnant after one chaotic night. Dante’s whole life is about to change,
I have been a huge fan of Malorie Blackman's books ever since I first read Noughts and Crosses. This book contrasts with all the other novels I have read because it tells Dante’s story from a very vulnerable and emotional perspective.

his book really follows the characters journey. I really enjoyed watching Dante fall in love with his daughter, Emma. The change in Dante throughout the book helped me to connect with his character and really follow his journey of emotions.
What I loved about this book is that every challenge the characters face reflect how harsh the reality of life is as a teenager and a parent. It
also doesn’t hide the difficult and shocking truths that come with being human.
I would recommend this book to everyone from the age of 15 because the situations that occur could affect anyone from this age. This book has definitely changed my view on teenage parents and has made me think about other teenagers being put in this position.
