Libraries week is a national celebration of libraries. The theme this year focused on wellbeing - bringing communities together, providing a space for reading, creativity and supporting mental health

Throughout the week people were encouraged to take part in art therapy, the Create How You Feel project. Former VAD student and illustrator, Ellen Nacey, helped out by allowing the use of her designs on the theme of wellbeing to be displayed. The numerous paintings from staff and students were also displayed

outside the LRC. Included in the week was World Mental Health Day where workshops took place on narrative therapy with CAP students. The Mad Hatters Tea Party included much loved tea and cake on the theme of tea and sympathy and board game Connect 4 proved to be a winner with staff and

students! By the end of the week the variety of performances, discussions, workshops, books and therapy celebrated the inclusive environment that libraries create (with the support of the BRIT community).
