1. Proof of purchase displaying date,
model and Serial Number is required
for warranty claims.
2. Warranty is voided if Serial Number
label is removed for any reason
whatsoever, or if Serial Number is not
readable.
3. Products qualifying for warranty will
be replaced with new or refurbished
parts or products, or an equivalent
product, at the sole discretion of
Lowrance SA and are covered by the
warranty terms and conditions for the
remainder of the original product’s
warranty period, or 12 months from
replacement date- whichever is the
greater.
4. The warranty is based on time, not
usage.
5. Lowrance SA will not warrant grey
imports! Or any product bought
through a non-Lowrance SA dealer.
6. A faulty unit must be returned to
Lowrance SA for evaluation before a
warranty replacement can be
approved.
Please note:
Physical damage as well as negligence is not a
warranty claim. This includes corrosion.
We also offer a service exchange for Lowrance
customers who have a faulty unit that is out of
older than five-years. Basically, we offer you a
service exchange unit at a greatly discounted
price. This will keep you happy within the
Lowrance family.

electronics! The brand with the best quality
will always have the longest warranty.

This last point is the most important! You
should never load personal data onto your
charts – not waypoints, routes, trails,
screenshots – NOTHING! All charts have
firewalls in place that prevent any external
handling – this means that they protect
themselves from people trying to copy the
chart data. If the data is tampered with, the
chart will be rendered useless – and this is not
a warranty claim!
All waypoints, routes and trails should be
of the Lowrance head unit. If you want to make
a back-up of your waypoints (which we always
recommend), you should place a blank card
into your unit and save a back-up on that.
