Another HUGE improvement to this new HOOK series is LIVE mapping with Genesis Live! Genesis Live
is completely FREE; all it requires is a blank SD card and sonar with bottom lock.
This means you can update the map detail of your favourite fishing spot or map unmapped areas with
1/2-foot (0.15m) contours – in real time, directly on your HOOK REVEAL screen. Genesis Live uses
digital depth to create high-definition maps featuring precise detail. It allows you to target key fishing
areas, making it easy to find areas where fish like to hide, like drop-offs, point, ditches and more.
How is works:
• Make sure that your chart source is on
“Lowrance,” NOT “Navionics.
• Place any blank SD card into the card slot of
your Lowrance unit- no larger than 32 gigs.
• View your “Overlay” options, and select
“Genesis Live.”
You will then automatically start recording real-time live mapping data.
The data is saved onto your inserted SD card. This means your data is always safe and can be easily
accessed on future fishing trips. You can constantly update your data by covering the same area with the
same SD card inserted.
