When in forward-mode, LiveSight
provides a very wide horizontal
coverage area, thereby covering more
area with a single beam and making
it easy for users to track their casted
lure (since it decreases the required accuracy of their casts). With the
increased coverage area of LiveSight,
users spend less time steering the
transducer around hunting for fish
and lures.
When mounted in down-mode, the
same dimensions are focused below
the boat- giving anglers a large enough
visible patch to easily track lures and
watch fish react. LiveSight also serves as a traditional sonar transducer in
this configuration, thereby reducing
the number of transducers needed.
More range means in forward-mode
you can see objects and fish further
than your casting ability so you can
position the boat in order to make those casts. In down-mode range is
equal to depth, so LiveSight down
gives users the flexibility to fish
structure.
