“Tow vehicles kept getting stuck in the mud and one could have been
forgiven for thinking it would have been easier for the skippers to simply
keep going – driving their boats off the water and straight onto the
totally sodden track leading into the tent. At times the road looked like a
river!” Craig said. He added that the organisers managed this unexpected
situation to the best of their ability and with great determination, pulled
the process off successfully.

Craig added that the organising
team’s fantastic performance
throughout the week led to one of
the FIPS officials saying that in his
21 years of World Fishing Games,
this was the best-run event ever!!
High praise indeed from someone
who knows what goes on behind
the scenes.

congratulates
the
organising committee for their many
hours of hard work – putting on the
Championship of all time! Well done
Wessie and crew!
Steph, who spent the week there,
was pleased to see that 80% of the
boats participating were Lowrance-
equipped. And our Lowrance Brand
Ambassadors excelled.
