SJS FISHING
COMPETITION
For the second consecutive year, Thornlea Dam in the
Tala Valley was the host venue of the annual SJS fishing
competition. This was an exciting weekend of family
fun and fishing – as well as a fundraiser for St Johns
Diocesan School for Girls Pietermaritzburg.
This normally-tranquil weekend haven, became a hive
of activity as families, friends and neighbours gathered
to enjoy this event together - the only one its kind,
allowed once a year - at this privately-owned dam.
