Low Key Literature Fall 2016 | Page 3

Although this is the first time Plymouth State University students have designed a magazine using Joomag.com, this is actually the second issue of the digital literary magazine from Plymouth State University's Composition students. You may remember our inaugural issue from Spring 2016.

This issue from a small group of Plymouth State students features a variety of written and visual work, much of which involves traveling or new experiences of some kind, which is why it's called "the travel issue." Many of the photographs in this magazine are the students' own work, while others come from Pixabay.com, a site for free, high-quality images, or from Joomag's selection of free photos. In this magazine, students share their personal narratives, research, responses to literature, freewrites, journal

entries, and other genres of writing as well as their own art and photography.

Although this particular group considers itself "low key," the work these students included in this magazine comes from a semester of vigorous study in creativity, in which students explored what it means to be creative as well as methods for finding that creative spark. The research from these students delves into problems that exist in some aspect of their lives and aims at alleviating or even solving these problems.

Take a moment to explore what these creative students have written and designed, and learn more about them as writers, researchers, creatives, and travelers in this second issue of Plymouth State University's digital literary magazine!
