about just sexuality in general. And women seeing that because they like sex, it doesn’t make them a slut. It doesn’t make them dirty or wrong. They’re not going to hell because of it but I think it goes so far back. It’s a paradigm that’s going to shift overtime and it’s going to have to be with people like us all talking about it and saying, let’s not make it this taboo thing. We’re all doing it! Why do we have to be quiet about it? I have never gone out for a girl’s night out and the conversation not gone to sex. Never! Even with people that are the prudest people that I know. We all end up talking about sex. I have gone to sex toy parties that girlfriends have thrown that I think, oh my God, I can’t believe they’re throwing a sex toy party. When you do that, you get a roomful of women and they start to talk about some pretty raunchy stuff and you’re like, really?! I think it shouldn’t be so shocking. We should all be talking it because it’s fun to talk about it and it’s even more fun to do. AB: I heard from girlfriends that women, when they’re together, they’re even worse than guys regarding talking about sex. KK: Yes!!! AB: And yet they pretend to be so prim and proper and very unapproachable. What’s the deal here? KK: I think it’s just our culture and it’s upbringing. I am from the South and down here - you don’t even talk about it and I have only really lived in the South so I don’t even know if people are a lot more… What it seems like in the bigger cities is there’s a lot more open-mindedness and a lot more liberalism about it but where I live, it’s so taboo.
