Dolly is a 6-7 year old grey mare, standing at around 14.2 hh unmeasured. She is the only mare I have ever met that doesn't have a mareish bone in her body. She is exceptionally behaved around every horse she has ever come across. She has competed in local gymkhanas, trail ridden, gone to jump club and has basic yet extensive flatwork developed. She is a very sensitive mare who needs almost no leg, goes a lot off body movement and positioning. She would suit a natural horsemanship home, somewhere with a small lady rider looking for a trail riding mare, or a home with a soft rider whom is competent and experienced looking to succeed in pony club disciplines. She is a very forward moving horse. I would love to see her go to a pony club competing home, because Dolly and whomever her new owner may be are going to take the pony club world by storm. with her flashy high knee trot and ridiculously up hill canter, she will be an asset to anyone looking for a young superstar prospect to educate in dressage. She has jumped anything I point her at, bareback or saddled, she is very bold. I ride her probably 50/50 with bareback and saddled, and she performs exceptionally well under both conditions. She has taken my young 13 year old neighbor on several trail rides, this girl has had a handful of rides, but is very confident on dolly, cantering off up hills and running around with the other horses. Dolly has had a rough life, thus why she is sensitive, i'm hoping what I have done her and what her new owners will give her in the future, will give her one that she deserves.
