OTTB feature with Shory Park

What is her name:

She raced as Miss Kerching and as a stable name they called her Chingy in the race stables she came from in Echunga, SA. When I purchased her I only knew her as Kerching and started to call her Missy as she was quite the Miss in the paddock, it was only when her papers arrived and I saw Miss Kerching and realised how perfect and fitting her name really was! Our race horse rehoming and retraining stables is Shory Park so her show name is Shory Park Kerching.

How successful was Miss Kerching?

Missy won a misery $2,400. She was a terrible race horse but a very athletic, well bred and did I mention she was super pretty! The owners spent quite a lot of money on her and kept her going a lot longer than they should have. She had 15 starts with only one second place.

How did I purchase her?

A lovely track rider in SA who I had purchased 4 horses off in the past sent me a photo knowing she was well out of my budget but asking if I knew anyone she would suit. I had just bought myself a new car and was on a students wage so there was no way I could afford her but I just HAD to have her. Weeks past and I sold another horse I had and sent a message to see if she was still available- to my amazement she was and I do believe she was on the next truck over at a much more affordable price than I first thought!
