He taught me so much I am sop grateful no looking back. Also Warick Smith gave me a huge leg up into the horse industry. I've been to America several times to polish my skills with western pleasure. However, due to the high costs of a nice pleasure horse these days, I've now scaled myself back a little from the western horses. I still love them it's just become so elite which is great for the sport but its now harder for the average horse owner to sustain training etc.

My newest interest and goal is trick training my horses. I believe its a great way to tune into your horses' mind, body and soul. In my perspective, everyone gets a thrill out of seeing a horse bow, lay down, count and smile. It's endless what you can achieve and so rewarding, any breed and conformed horse can learn. They actually find it fun, they seldom sour up, unless over cued. I just feel that other disciplines can be too much pressure upon the horse that may be bred to do a job and just fall slightly short of being competitive, despite the specialized breeding, price tag and training. I'm off again to America to further my knowledge in trick training.
