Do you need a licence to brew small batches of beer?

(@skew_earring Cindy, Ireland)

The good news is no. You can pick up kits now that allow you to brew small / 23 litre batches pretty cheap costing anywhere between €40 - €100, depending on the level of equipment you're looking to get. You would only need a licence if you were brewing large volumes and selling it. As long as what you’re making isn’t being sold then no licence is required.

From a male perspective, women who fake tan to within an inch of their lives - attractive? Or not? (always wondered whether men generally thought it attractive or not)

(Tracy, Melbourne/Dublin)

In my personal opinion I don’t think over tanning is attractive. I think woman shouldn’t need to feel like they need a tan all year round. If a tan is done well and it is only a slight enhancement that makes you feel more comfortable, then I'm fine with that. It is when you start to see people who are orange and streaky that really isn’t attractive, to me.

My question is about relationships - I've been with my boyfriend 2 years and he's not big on kissing, touching or complimenting, and I would like to hear what you think from a males perspective, is this common with men and do men and women often find themselves arguing over similar things in their relationships?

(Nadine, Dublin)

Some men find it hard to show emotion and kissing/touching may be difficult for them. In my opinion men usually fall into two categories. Category one, finds it hard to show affection to others and category two are really comfortable showing emotion/affection towards others. I personally would be more a category two type of guy and do find it difficult to understand some people that can’t show it. However, if this is how it has always been I would say it won’t change. Hopefully he tries to show his affection in different ways and still makes you feel loved. In regards to arguing, I think all couples argue over the same sort of things usually petty little things that in the grand scheme of things don’t matter, but I think it is a way for a couple to find out exactly who they are.

What do you think of 'man repeller' clothes like culottes, pleather leggings and dungarees? Do you admire women for there fashion forwardness and bravery or is it merely a massive turn-off?!

(Molly, Dublin)

IPersonally would not be into culottes, pleather leggings or dungarees I don’t find them attractive on woman at all, but I do respect woman that choose to wear them. I have the up most respect for people that wear clothes that may not be the norm I couldn’t pull it off, so on one hand I would respect her for her fashion forwardness and bravery, however for me it would be a turn off. I love to see woman in beautiful dresses rather than dungarees, however as I said each to their own and if it’s what makes them feel good then that is what matters most.
