Sisters on the Path to Stardom

Let’s just say if you ever have the opportunity to search the names Chloe and Halle on YouTube, your mind will be blown after hearing their powerful voices. A few weeks ago, I was jamming in my room to Beyoncé’s new album Yonce. Later I decided to search for covers to her latest songs: then I stumbled upon Chloe and Halle’s cover to “Pretty hurts”. Immediately my eyes widen. I was amazed by the strong voices coming out of these young girl's souls. Although they have popular hits on YouTube, Chloe and Halle have performed on the "Ellen" Show and have acted in movies and TV with famous actors such as Angela Bassett, Queen Latifah, Tyler Perry, and Beyoncé.

Chloe and Halle have been involved in other projects such as, "Meet the Browns", "House of Payne", "The Fighting Temptations", "The Last Holiday", "Gospel Hill", "Joyful Noise" , and Disney Channel’s “Let it Shine”. These young Ladies are directly on the road to stardom. Within their journey I’ve gotten the honor to Interview the Rising stars. Here are some of the question’s I’ve asked them.

Q&A'S

1.How old are you girls?

Chloe: I am 15

Halle: I am 13

2.Where is your hometown?

We were both born in Atlanta, Georgia and recently moved to Los Angeles this past summer.

3.When did you realize you could sing?

Chloe: As my Mother shared with me, she was cleaning downstairs in the kitchen one day when I was 2 years old, I was singing “Mary had a little lamb” and I had a vibrato that was on pitch when I sang. Halle: Being 2 years younger than Chloe I just mimicked everything that she would do. So singing came pretty naturally to me. I did everything my older sister would do. My parents started to work with us and started to have us sing together. Our first big performance was at the Trumpet Awards Luncheon in Atlanta.

4.What did your family do to encourage you?

Chloe and Halle: Our parents are very supportive. They enrolled us in voice, piano and dance lessons. They encouraged us to work hard and keep our heads down; keep our “eye of the prize”. They are what keeps us grounded.

5.Do you play any instruments?

Chloe: I play the violin (some) and piano and learning the guitar

Halle: I play the cello (some), the guitar and learning the piano
