DO THE SAUSAGE TWIST!
Bangers don’t have to be boring!
? Take your favourite variety of
sausage and place in a wrap of foil.
? Twist one end firmly.
? In the open end of the wrap, pour a
small amount of wine
? Twist the open end to seal in the
wine.
? Place the foil parcel on the barbeque.
? The sausage will poach as the wine
evaporates and creates steam.
TIP
Frankfurters are great for this sausage twist – they are pre-cooked and have a good colour.
CEDAR WOOD SALMON
Here’s an unusual way of cooking a salmon steak. You can buy cedar wood planks online
and they are great for a barbeque, the water in the plank will steam and ensures that the
salmon stays moist. The cedar wood will infuse with a sweet, spicy fragrance and naturally
smoky flavour.

Season an 8oz salmon steak.
Soak the plank in water; it
becomes pliable when wet and you can
wrap it around the fish, into a parcel.
? Tie your parcel with garden
wire.
? Place on the barbeque, not too
hot.
? Cook for 8 – 10 minutes, turn
half way during cooking process
? The fish is ready when flaky
