n September 21, the GLMS Alliance had, as our first event
of the year, an evening meeting at Dr. Bob and Angie DeWeese’s home. On September 26, the GLMS Foundation
Scholarship Golf Outing was held at Hurstbourne Country Club.
The GLMS Alliance donated a basket for the event’s online auction
and contributed a golf hole sponsorship. Lastly, the GLMS Alliance
gave $5,000 to a deserving medical student for the GLMS Alliance
Scholarship. The 2016 recipient was Katelynn C. Bachman. You can
see the photo of the check presentation to the right.
