“ I was a member of the U. S. Air Force from 1964-1966 at Offutt AFB which is in Omaha, Nebraska. I was a Captain and a General Medical Officer. I had finished my year as a rotating Intern at St. Joseph Infirmary and was not able to begin my OB-GYN Residency as the one opening was taken. I volunteered to take OB night call, and near the end of my stay, was told that I did 704 deliveries and only had to call in once for another OB to do a C-section.”
