University of Kentucky campus to his fraternity house . Twice – not once but TWICE – he was picked up by none other than Coach Bear Bryant , who didn ’ t say a whole lot , but took him to his fraternity house . He was the life of the party .
He was still hiking 2 to 3 miles regularly in his early 90s . However , he wound up developing myeloid leukemia . It was the type that did not respond well to conventional therapy .

Chris McClellan , and his cardiologist , Dr . Bill Dillon , the sheriff !

IN MEMORY OF Dr . David Nightingale . PEACE .
