As a matter of fact , some hospitals have changed its name to the medical staff lounge . We as physicians continue to adapt to the ongoing changes in health care . But the doctors ’ lounge should continue to be called the doctors ’ lounge . Other health care providers who work with physicians in providing direct care to patients may use our space . However , as the leaders of the health care team , we deserve a dedicated place to meet colleagues , discuss new diagnostic trends , review medical charts , work on reports , research information , have down time from our hectic schedules and yes – get some food !
