Meghan Hawthorne is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . She is originally from California but has lived in Louisville since 2014 . She attended Centre College . Her career interest is in inpatient internal medicine . She enjoys spending time with her friends , fiancé and dogs . When not studying , she loves running , hiking , painting and knitting with friends .
Savanna Holland is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine , where she is enrolled in the Distinction in Medical Education track . She grew up in White Hall , Arkansas , but moved to Richmond , Kentucky her junior year of high school . She attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia , Arkansas , where she graduated magna cum laude . She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and is the current president of Cardinal Street Medicine . Her career interest is obstetrics and gynecology . When not studying , she enjoys spending time with her husband , Drew , and participating in a book club with her college friends .
Emma Jacobs is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . She is from Edgewood , Kentucky and attended the University of Louisville , graduating magna cum laude . She received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Galicia , Spain and enjoys volunteering locally as a Spanish Interpreter . Her career interest is in general surgery . She enjoys hiking in state and national parks and traveling to new places with her friends , family and two dogs . When Emma is not studying or involved in rotations , she loves cooking , photography , gardening and watercolor painting .
Matt Miracle is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . He is a resident of Fisherville , Kentucky and previously attended Missouri State University , graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education with Honors and Arizona State University , where he received Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in clarinet performance . Matt is husband to Mallory Miracle , and father to Kate , Liv and Scott . He plans to pursue a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation . In his free time , he enjoys golfing and moving heavy weights through arbitrary ranges of motion .
Stephen Nash is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . He grew up in Florence , Kentucky where he graduated from Boone County High School . After this , he went on to study at Morehead State University where he was a part of the George M . Luckey , Jr . Honors Program . He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society . After a great deal of career exploration , he has decided to pursue a career in otolaryngology . Outside of medicine , Stephen has many hobbies . A few of these include running , backpacking , playing chess and making a great cup of coffee .
Jessica Sparks is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . She is from Boone , North Carolina . She has always had a strong desire to help others , which motivated her decision to become a doctor . Her career interests include medical and surgical dermatology . Besides academic research , Jessica has been committed to serving the community through the LouVax campaign and nonprofit organizations focused on marginalized populations and recent immigrants . When she is not busy with studies and service , she enjoys spending time with her family , adventure hikes with her dogs and photography .
Jordan Swindle is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . He is from Jacksonville , Florida and attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington , Kentucky . He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society . His career interest is in orthopedic surgery . He enjoys spending time with his wife , son and family from Florida and Illinois . When he is not studying , Jordan enjoys running and lifting weights , playing word puzzles and playing with his son , John .
Dawson Willis is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine . He is from Frankfort , Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky , and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Neuroscience . His career interest includes internal medicine , and he currently aspires to be a general hospitalist . He enjoys a variety of hobbies including cooking , bread baking , robotics and building model rockets .
