Nyagon G . Duany , M . D ., uses her passion for sports and personal experience as a former college athlete as the foundation for building relationships with her patients .
Dr . Duany earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine , Indianapolis . She completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University , Washington , D . C ., and a sports medicine fellowship with the University of Cincinnati , Ohio . She is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery .
While Dr . Duany ’ s primary focus is on sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery , she also sees patients with general orthopedic issues , including fractures , arthritis and joint replacement .
