Limitations of Kentucky Health Insurance Marketplace
Support making PPO plans available through the KYNECT marketplace and support requiring geographic scope and a list of in-network providers be available by the health insurance exchange .

Aligning Health Insurance Policy Terms with Benefits
Support a requirement that commercial carriers in Kentucky offer plans that synchronize the benefit terms and the premium contract durations .

Repeal the Kentucky Provider Tax on Cosmetic Procedures
Support legislation repealing the tax on cosmetic procedures , in order to prevent patient exodus to adjacent states for these services .
Hemorrhage Control Training for Schools & Colleges
Address gun violence epidemic harm by supporting 2023 legislation to establish and require American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed training annually for all Kentucky school and college teachers and employees ( every other year for educators who have completed 3 consecutive annual courses ) and for students ( voluntary for elementary school students ). Also , that funding for such hemorrhage control courses and supplies come from the Kentucky General Fund , with partial of full replacement by federal funds , if the Prevent the BLEEDing Act of 2022 or other funding is enacted .

Improving Maternal Health
Advocate for improved prenatal and post-partum care and resources for women in Kentucky .

Research Into a Multifaceted Approach to Gun Control
Resolutions 18-21 be combined for review by a task force to be appointed by the Board . The task force will review the medical literature and report evidence-based recommendations for public policy actions to reduce injury and death due to firearms . The recommendations of the task force will be reported to the House of Delegates no later than the 2023 Annual Meeting .
