GLMS FOUNDATION DONATES PPE
CARE PACKAGES TO LOCAL PHYSICIANS
On Monday, May 18, the GLMS Foundation donated over
100 care packages of PPE to our community physicians.
Local health care workers had the opportunity to sign up
to receive a PPE care package containing gloves of various
sizes as well as hand sanitizer, donated by local distilleries
Angel’s Envy, Rabbit Hole and Evan Williams. Gloves
were purchased from funds donated to the previously
held PPE drive, to which the GLMS Foundation matched donations.
GLMS Foundation President Dr. Thomas Reichard said, “By
donating through our drive, donors can be assured that these items
will be equally distributed to the entire medical community, not
just one hospital or system. Any medical practice or hospital in the
Louisville area that sees patients will have access to these supplies.”
We are continuing to seek donated items from area businesses,
there is still time to make a monetary donation that will be matched
by the GLMS Foundation. All donations will be used to purchase new
PPE. Physicians can add their names to a wait list (link) to receive
supplies once we are restocked. For more information on this drive,
