MedCentral makes acquiring hospital
privileges easy. Let us handle insurance provider
enrollment for you.
MedCentral has helped physicians for nearly 30 years in centralizing
primary source verification of hospital credentialing. This service
is open to both members and non-members of GLMS, but mem-
bers do receive significant discounts on fees. In November 2019,
MedCentral introduced the Med30 program, which guarantees
the credentialing process completed from start to finish in 30 days
or less. We are currently the only credentialing provider to offer
this service in the nation. MedCentral is proud to be the exclusive
credentialing provider for 21 area hospitals. With busy schedules and the ever-changing landscape of health
care, administrative tasks are often not your top priority. With
our provider enrollment services, GLMS staff will handle the ini-
tial enrollment of a new insurance provider and track responses
from each payer until all necessary information is obtained, with
enrollment applications stored in our secure database. We can help
with a multitude of enrollment items such as CAQH profile set up
and maintenance, Medicaid and Medicare revalidation, terminating
providers from your contacts, and more. Partnering with GLMS for
this task takes the burden from you and your office staff, allowing
you more time to spend caring for patients. In 2019, this service
saved practices 926 hours.

professional environment.
Louisville Medicine
Want to have your work published outside of a peer-reviewed
journal? While we do have themes each month, you are encouraged
to write on any topic that you wish. Some previous issues have
included aging, men's health, infertility and alcohol.
You also have the opportunity to serve on our Editorial Board,
composed of volunteers who want to have a say in what content
will be included in the magazine. In the last quarter alone, we have
had three new additions to our Editorial Board and have had many
members author their first article.
Have you tried a new restaurant in town? Working on a new project
you want to share with colleagues? Read an interesting novel or
biography? These are all encouraged and appreciated in Louisville
Medicine. We cherish members who are not only talented physi-
cians, but also strong, articulate writers.
